Three different timestamps
Source publication is when the original post appeared. First observed is when we collected it. Version publication is when this site published the record. None automatically establishes when the underlying reset happened.
Preserve the source’s precision
A date-only source stays a date; we do not invent completion at midnight. An unspecified time remains unknown, and an explicit range stays a range instead of becoming its midpoint.
Read the zone, then set your reminders
Public history and details use labelled UTC times. Z indicates UTC; numeric offsets can describe the same instant in another zone. Email times and quiet hours use your selected IANA time zone, including daylight-saving changes.
